Boulder Junction is home to more than 100 miles of snowmobile trails that spread throughout the Northwoods and connect to several neighboring communities, including Sayner-Star Lake, Manitowish Waters, Winchester, and Presque Isle. It’s a great home base for your Northwoods snowmobiling adventure.
You can find a trail map in Boulder Junction’s online visitor guide or purchase a copy at the Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce, 5352 Park St., as well as at restaurants, shops, and lodging properties downtown.
You can also download the free Map It Vilas County trails app (available for Apple and Android devices), which features information on snowmobile trails and silent sports trails throughout Vilas County—you can even use it if you don’t have a cell signal.
