NORTH LAKELAND SCHOOL TRAILS:

Wednesday, 12/07 – Trails were rolled and combed today.  They are in poor condition with numerous bare spots.  Leaves, pinecones and sticks are on the trails in all sections.  No tracking will be done until we have adequate snowfall and favorable temps.  The snowshoe trails are ready to go.  Please respect rules of the trails:  Snowshoe, hike and exercise pets on snowshoe trails only.

WIN MAN TRAILS:

Wednesday, 12/7 – Ski Trails are open for skiing. Early Season Conditions. We did receive about 1.5 inches of snow yesterday but still recommend B skis as there are still portions of the trail system that have thin coverage.

Fat Tire Biking Trails are open. All fat tire bike trails have been groomed and are now open.

Snowshoe trails are open. Snowshoes are required.

RAZORBACK RIDGES:

Tuesday, 12/7 – As of Tuesday afternoon completed first grooming of the season. Prior to this trails were rolled trails twice. It is iffy skiing right now. There are places where it would be fairly good, but many stretches that still need more snow. Not possible to set tracks yet. I would definitely use rock skis, and I would use great caution on steep downhills with curves. I discovered that the first side loop of Long Rider will have to be closed for the season as a berm was bulldozed at the completion of a logging project this summer on a steep downhill just before a sharp curve at the bottom. Otherwise, all trails will be open this winter.
