Eagle River Roasters in Eagle River, Boulder Junction Coffee Company in Boulder Junction and Dixie’s Coffee House in Manitowish Waters are favorites among locals in Vilas County for their coffee drinks, teas, baked goods, and light meals. In Oneida County, grab a fresh-brewed cup at popular spots like Great Northern Coffee Traders in the Minocqua Area, Northern Grounds Coffeehouse in Rhinelander, Deja Brew Bistro & Coffee Haus in Three Lakes, and What’s Brewin’ Coffee Shop in Tomahawk.
In northwestern Wisconsin, coffee fans can find great places for a pick-me-up as they’re exploring the Apostle Islands or other scenic sites. In Bayfield, visit Wonderstate Coffee or head to Mission Hill Coffee House in La Pointe (right by the Madeline Island Ferry). Visitors to Hayward have some great options for coffee and more at Backroads Coffee or Koobies Coffee Shop.
Central Wisconsin
Head to Marshfield in central Wisconsin and you’ll find Uptown Coffee, a coffee shop and café that serves up drinks and breakfast and lunch specials in a historic downtown building, as well as Coffee Cabin Espresso, a quick-stop spot for lattes, cold brew, matcha, and more.
Green Bay is home to popular coffee shops like Kavarna Coffeehouse and Glass Coffeehouse, and visitors to the Fox Cities can find more comfy cafes throughout the area, including Copper Rock Coffee Company in Appleton and Bedrock Coffee Roasters in Neenah.
A little farther east on the shores of Lake Michigan, visitors to Manitowoc and Two Rivers will find a few places to get their caffeine fix, including Beans N’ Cream in Manitowoc, The High Lift in Two Rivers and Cool City Coffee Shop (located inside Cool City Brewing Company) in Two Rivers.
Southern Wisconsin
Wisconsin’s state capital of Madison is filled with delicious spots to stop for coffee, including Michelangelo’s Coffee House on State Street, Bradbury’s Coffee just off the Capitol Square and Lakeside St. Coffee House on Lake Monona.
In Milwaukee, you’ll find flagship locations of popular coffee chains like Colectivo Coffee (don’t miss their neat lakefront location in a historic 1880s building on Lincoln Memorial Drive) and Anodyne Coffee (which has cafes in Bay View, Walker’s Point, Wauwatosa, and at the Milwaukee Public Market). Head a little farther south along Lake Michigan to Racine to discover delicious espressos, mochas, and more at Abrazo Coffee and The Main Project & Café.
